Looks fantastic to me especially the back. The interior is also a huge step up from the last generation. I am really happy with the new interior design seen on the X5 and X6 and I hope it will be implemented in the coming BMW models.

Rear overhang looks colossal, it has the same horrible lines on the side and profile as the X4, same lights as the X5. Meeeeeeeh. At least the M-Sport pack doesn't look like a total nightmare like the other X models

Always been a fan of the original X6. So really like this step forward. The M Sport front looks a bit too classy instead of sporty.
Nothing the X6M will make up for! Jan 2015 it was right?

Not exactly on diet

Chassis / Physicals:
35 to 55 pounds lighter than predecessor (given identical equipment levels)

BMW probably going to say the real weight saving carbon f. stuff is going start with the next 7 series, then the next 5 series, then the next 3 series, then the next x3, then the next x4, then the next x5, then the next x6

I really love the interior! Not the exterior so much. The back still makes the car look cheap.

I wonder when they're going to get over this "headlights must connect to grill" phase.

It's so weird. Our eyes don't blend into our noses. It looks... freaky.

And ugly, to be blunt.

I have always hated the elongated headlights in all models. I hope that changes on facelift models.

The wheels are just too small for the car, giving it very weird proportions.

This is a great effort by bmw I have to say. I loved the first gen and I like this one too. A nice evolution but not too keen on that line above the rear wheelarches. Too pronounced.
I think bmw knows competition is going to be fierce in this segment over the next years.
Design wise you can tell there is quality here. No longer the cheap plastic bits ala X3 and 3ser and 5 ser etc you see in the bumpers and Xline packs nice brushed steel instead but with that said I will have to wait a see how it drives - for me the biggest beef with current bmw´s apart from cheap interiors and degrading quality all arround. We know bmw does not come close too porsche in the last few years - Z4 vs cayman etc etc -.
Enjoy some stills I took from the vid.
I love these videos. Such branding bullshit. At one point the guy says "best in segment! Yeah mate. It would now wouldnt since its the only one in class unless bmw considers the pontiac aztec as in its class lol

Don't like the fact that it looks like the X5 at the front! I so don't like that it doesn't look as wide as its predecessor although it should have the same or maybe more width on paper. I really, really hope it would look sexier face to face

Brushed aluminum protection looks great, airbreather high gloss piece also, grills in that darker alu as well. My whishlist for this model would be full panoramic sunroof (maybe a safety issue), RR evoque has one and the roofline is pretty steep, frameless windows on doors would make it cool (again maybe safety issue). Perhaps mercedes can and will act on these details but it wont be easy to match this interrior. I must say that as much as i like this car in msport package, not sure about the roundy teary design of rear lights.

Like the current one better and I don't think I've ever felt that way about a BMW. I always like the new model better.

Hate the 2 tone leather seats. Just don't like the way they are divided.

got to love that new front and most importantly the new interior, but couldn't figure out why they would kill the best part about the gen1 X6... the aggressive yet curvy bum.
