Do you guys get internet access from your F15 as this lady claims on 3:58 mark?

No, as I did not want to pay monthly fees. Also, BMW provider was on 3G cell is 4G.

Funny, BMW CID cannot watch DVD, nor use online owners manual while driving but can use Internet.

I checked the VIN decoder for some US October bulids that had APPS, & Real-Time Traffic Information and they did not have Internet.

The Canadian option is 6AR Internet.

I have answered my previous question:
Internet gives you web access on the Control Display of your BMW. The URL is entered simply and conveniently using the iDrive Controller or using the bookmark list for fast access.

With the data flat rate for internet use, you can surf the internet directly from your BMW nationwide (no roaming). The Control Display can be used for web surfing up while travelling up to a speed of 7 km/h. ConnectedDrive Services is required in order to use this function.

It would be nice if iDrive can use the phone to get access to internet...but then we'd have to pay for tethering charges.
