Mod advice

Hey guys,

I just leased a 2018 X6 X50i m sport and need some advice..I am doing the following mods:

I don't want to get too crazy or I would have just gone with the X6M but here it is:

Tune (dinan or bootmod)
Black kidney grilles
Paint matched reflectors
X6M trunk spoiler lip (paint matched)
Red start stop button
Window tint

I was also considering:

Getting upgraded calipers and rotors (not sure why they put ugly small concrete colors calipers on a 90K car when a Kia comes with red brembos...thoughts?

Carbon fiber console trim and shift knob from IND (take a look at the pictures I attached) it almost looks weird since these cars don't come with the Carbon Fiber dashboard trim etc that the m cars come with (I had an m4 and M6 before so it all matched better) but I feel like it will look really unmatched with the silver trim i have everywhere else, thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't think the X6 has a diffuser right? Only the x5?

There is a diffuser for x6:

All the things you mentioned are great! For brakes and calipers, I would suggest MPBK. Regarding the silver trims Its okay, even M cars have them in door handles.. etc.

I wouldn't waste your time or money on on brakes on a lease. You're oem ones will last the life of your lease and if they didn't would be covered under maintenance.

I agree, but they look so ugly. I don't get how they don't even paint them or give you nice brakes on a 90k car. If you get the X50i and m sport, at least give us that!

I agree with Maverik259.

I like your list of mods. I would go with a flash tune over dinan. It'll probably be cheaper and provide more power and smoother delivery.

As far as the CF console trim and shift knob, I personally wouldn't do it unless you were also installing a CF dash/door trim kit. It will likely look out of place as the only CF items in the vehicle.

They will on G05. But ya most other brands put at least some kind of multi piston fixed calipers. Anyway to save a buck. I mean don't get me wrong they are good for what they are but they couldn't be better and they're not as good as the MPBK
