Then I will take it to a detail shop to see if they can make the imprint disappear.

It still sucks, but not as furious as if someone keyed it intentionally. A good polish should make most of it disappear.

I think I will go with 21". However I am not a fan of the staggered set as I think the 11.5 in the rear appear to clunky. I might go with a match set of the 21". |

I'm with you chadmatic! I was on I-95 heading south last night following a fellow X5 50i with M- Sport that had 19's and it looked like he was on bicycle tires! Didn't look good IMHO. I know that many have to suffer through winter with the 19's and that's cool, when the suns out, break out the staggered 20's all day long! (or the 21's if you are so lucky)

Excellent choice! Then you should absolutely go for the original staggered set up! I have the same myself and love them!

However I have done 4000 miles now in just under 4 months and I am a little concerned about the tyre wear If I'm not careful I will need a new set after 12000 miles? Are the P Zeros known for quick tyre wear?

I am also thinking about the M brake set up but btw the wheels and brakes that's $10k in mods. I just don't like the look of the stock brakes. Are there alternatives? |

I have the x35i without fender flares. Tires do seem to pop out ever so slightly with the BMW recommended offset for 20 x 11 rears but I think I'll grow to like it. If not i would go get the flares. Here's a shot of the side profile.

Nice. Do you go with the spare in the trunk or fix a flat kit?
