I got the TPMS to also measure tire temperature as well as pressure...

I enabled the lane departure warning to be on all the time, as well as the proximity sensors.

I could even change the sound of the car alarm to euro or British sounds as opposed to USA

And those are just the presets! There is an expert mode to code additional features.

There are also a bunch of other presets, but I have 3 keys, and it was getting late, apparently, you have to have only one key in the car at a time, but it's well worth the headache.

I still have some other things I want to program as well, like and easy entry/exit driver's seat, and the temperature of the heated/vented seats.

Tons of options, and most are presets! I also enabled the adaptive headlights.

Make sure you also download the free BimmerLink app (from the same guy) to clear out any fault codes.

Once that's done, it kicks ass!

Best part is, it saves backups of everything you did so you can always revert back to stock, and if you use it in another vehicle, it separates the changes based on vin#, so you can code as many cars as you'd like!

Anyway you can send me the latest software. I have a feeling there was something wrong with the software I have. I coded plenty of x5s before and never had this problem. Also all of the coding that I have done- was just gone. Any insight on this ?

PM sent, but this has nothing to do with your software version. It is no mystery what happened.

You VO coded whole SVT with motor running, and when it got to your DME ECU, it killed motor and stalled out car, and now your DME is missing it's CAFD.

You must inject new CAFD into DME and VO Code it now, and motor must NOT be running when you do it.

And since you VO Coded half your Modules before stalling out the car, all custom FDL Coding was wiped out.

It is clear you had some disruption while VO Coding entire SVT. I meed to connect with TeamViewer and look at it.

Ok. I think I got it. I did what you said and cleared the code. Hope it will stay. I am not doing a new install of all the software and hoping the coding will stick. Shawn thank you

Ok. You should be fine now.

Ok. I tryed coding again. Everything went great however non of the changed took place. For example I changed all the options for closing mirrors. But after all oks nothin is closing

You need to use "Code FDL". not "Code".

And Close mirrors has multiple codes, so perhaps you missed one.

And unless you coded the Delay Time to 0 seconds, then you must press AND HOLD the button on Fob up to 20 seconds before they start folding.

Did you program British Voice in NBT by chance?
