Can you please PM me software.

Just picked the car up from the dealer and he has reset all of my coding. I have been able to restore some, but cannot edit some CAFD modules, so I think my version of software must be lagging behind what has just been dealer-installed.

I particularly want to get into KOMBI to code my mirrors to fold without delay. May sound trivial but I like that visual check that the car is locked.

Hi All,

I just got a f15 2016 with a heated steering wheel that has the ACC Stop n Go on it. However, no paddle shifters. I called Bimmer-Tech and they said it is not possible to add the paddles or even change the steering wheel.

Anyone knows of a way to add the paddles to this type of a steering wheel?

Was looking to code Enhanced Bluetooth but the VO doesn't even contain either 6NH or 6NS.
The car does support telephone as well as audio streaming.

Is there a more up to date procedure for adding EBT?

That is normal for F15. It won't have 6NH. Just add 6NS and Code EBT.

6NH is standard. Sometimes, standard features are not included in FA and are just implied. As Shawn said, it just means you have one less step (ie do not have to delete anything) and can just add 6NS.

do as shawnsheridan and almaretto say. I have a similar x5 with with no 6HS, etc in FA. I just added 6NS and VO coded NBT. It worked fine

I am looking to get the latest software both E Sys and data files. Could you PM me, when it is convenient for you?

I recently installed Invisihitch and need code my 2016 F15 since I have "Trailer Electrical Warning" lit up on dash/IDrive.

Also, what are the steps to do that in E-SYS? I noticed an old post you had mentioned to do following, however, do these steps give all 4 options (Trailer Zoom, Stability monitor adjusted when trailer attached, Backup/PDC de-activate when trailer attached etc.)?

And are these step equivalent to "Tow Harness" retrofit?

"Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read ECU (VCM) => Left-Click on AHM ECU => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD matching your I-Level => Select OK => Right-Click on AHM (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE. VO coding the AHM ECU (I remember reading the importance of AHMU in E70 models etc)"

Hi guys, not sure if this was asked, but can we extend the FOB trunk open
"Open Trunk Instantly via Keyfob" for more than 5 seconds? I don't think it's 5 seconds in mine, it opens pretty fast, which leads to unintended opening when keyfob is in pocket.

I have not tried increasing, but there do not appear to be any bitmask limitations. Try increasing and see if it fixes your issue.

I also do not have any issue, but you can block signal by placing smartphone between keyFOB & car as well as use case.

Anyone know the settings to defeat the side mirrors from unfolding at a certain speed. Ideally want to be able to fold/unfold at any speed using the button on door - or at least increase the threshold speed.

Hi guys,
Started coding today after 1,5 years. Just got new f15 e40.
Reinstalled all programs and data on my computer.
After being away 1 click from start coding token pin didn't match...
Looks like I forgot to put in path in E-Sys settings. After that I was trying to create new PIN in soft token but E-Sys launcher asked for activation code. I send request email message to SoftToken to send me an activation code.
Any idea if I'm doing right thing and how long it might take to get this code.

With Launcher, you create .EST Token / PIN initially, and that's it. Launcher does the rest. You do not modify E-Sys Settings.

Was using Bimmercode on a WiFi OBD adapter, but it can only do some basic coding. Seems like something like VO coding can only be done in E-SYS. The first step in learning how to use E-SYS.

Btw, if anyone in Oregon would help me out with coding? Thanks in advance.

Cannot find it in ECU in my F15 e40. There is only HKFM2 and there is no:
3010 HKL_BEDIENUNG TASTER_FBD aktiv nicht_aktiv Close trunk via Keyfob/footwell button (Part 1/3)
Any advice?
