Building sport seat side bolsters up?

Has anyone had the side and hip bolsters built up on the sport seats? I miss my E90 that hugged you and kept you planted, but the X5 feels like the seats were built for someone twice the size of me and I dont feel planted in the seat at all.

If you had the comfort seats...the buttons above the circular lumbar switch move the side bolsters which allows you to change the width of the seat (see #3 in diagram below)...the comfort seats are my favs due to the 22-way seat adjustments.

I dont have comfort seats, just the standard M-Sport (not so sport) seats.

My E90 sport seats had adjustable bolsters. I was rather disappointed when I found that the sport seats on the X5 do not come with them. Dont call something a sport seat if it doesnt have a sport fit lol.

Who calls them sport seats?

You buy the cheapest seats and then you complain about the lack of features that the more expensive seat options have...

any automotive upholstery shop should be able to either a) add foam on top of ur existing bolsters or b) contour a new foam block for the bolster. of course this all depends on the price, and i dont think it will be cheap. u might want to try sourcing a pair of used comfort seats instead.

Well considering they are literally called "Sports Seat" by BMW...

Not that I really need to explain myself to you, but a Sport Seat in an E90, which I came from, HAS adjustable side bolsters, so I assumed these would as well.
