X5 40e 2016 ABS DSC malfunction

Hello,

So the braking system malfunctioned in my F15 40e and the ABS light turned on. My bmw mechanic checked the code and told me that my ABS DSC module is malfunctioned and he cannot repair it. He quoted 4000$ for part and repair cost. I could not find any used parts online and new ones are going for 3200$. Any suggestions? What are my options here?

I would try to get second opinion just to make sure this is the problem, so far the cheapest one I can find is https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...ve-34516879439
But this is still $3000 after the core charge.

Try car-parts.com there is few salvage yards that have the 40e
