I got the Dunlops on my 2016 X5 x35i. I also had them on my 2013 and they lasted 20k miles.

My 35i came with Pirelli P ZERO's. Quite happy with the draw.

Yea, I had the Dunlops on my 2011 X5. Comparatively, I really like the Pirellis.

Just picked up our X5 tonight. They came with Dunlop's. First time running a car with Dunlop's, so interested to see how they perform.

MSport with 20"s came with Conti's, I have 12K miles and I'll be lucky to get another 8K out of them I'm afraid...

Dunlops. At 70 and above the steering seems to wander and hard to keep the car centered. An Infiniti M35 did the same. Most likely the tires.

I have the RF Conti's on 469's. Wearing ok. Maybe better now because the wife drives the X5 but they are noisy on bad roads

Will be picking up my new X5 Tuesday but I got a sneak peak the other day when she was delivered to the dealership.

469m wheels came with Continental ContiProContact SSR. I have the same tire on my F30 and I am pretty happy with them. So, I am happy with my luck in getting these.

Are the 20" P zeros terrible in the winter/snow? Am I destined to buy a second set of tires for going skiing?

20" are equipped with summer tires from the factory.... Generally speaking, summers are a no no for winter snow condition... can you drive in cold temps? Yes...
Can you drive in snow? probably with very minimal traction and it won't be safe and it is not recommended.

Thank you, that's what I figured.

A visit to Tire Rack shows some very pricey 20" all season or Winter 'only' tires.

Might stick with the 449 XLine wheels as I shop for an X5.

Did you check out Conti DWS06? I think price is very affordable for what they are. Most members here have these and use them year round.

Speaking of, one just installed them

For those who have had multiple brands - which work out the best over time?

I'm on the PZeros from new but I'm a little concerned about wear rate!

P Zero; I've ditched them and replaced with DWS 06's. I'm pleased with the DWS's as I think they have a nicer ride, AND, I can use in poor weather. Not entirely sold on the RFT technology.
