The f10 came out a good amount before the f15. If the current 7 series has it, it would be a good indication that the next 5 series will probably have it as well.

If you go into the ICM module then the 300A DSC ICM CODIERDATEN folder. Towards the middle you will see a few feshasmode codes.

Mode 1 = Comfort
Mode 2 = Comfort +
Mode 3 = Sport+
Mode 4 = Sport
Mode 5 = Don't know yet
Mode 6 = Don't know yet
Mode 7 = Eco Pro
Mode 8 = Edrive (not relevant)

You can turn any of these on (even though most are on by default) by activating the corresponding feshasmode code. For example, to turn on comfort+, you would change feshasmode2 to active.

Below these codes you will find a few fesallowmodelastfunction codes. If you turn these on, the car will remember the last setting it was in when you turned it off, and will then turn on in the same setting. You can turn on more than one at a time.

So fesallowmode2lastfunction will remember comfort+ mode, fesallowmode4lastfunction will remember sport mode, and fesallowmode7lastfuncion will remember eco pro.

The last thing you will need to do to get the car to not reset the last driving mode is change the werte in feslastfunctioninterval to FF.

P.S. for those of you that don't have sport+ on your car, you should try just turning on feshasmode3 and see if that solves the issue.
my feshas has mode 3 active, but i dont have sport+. i assume you still need VO coding to get it active, and likely a couple of other things (like turning off the paddles, as previously mentioned)

Page 94, djsaad tried Sport+ with negative results.

Didn't you tried adding 2TB and changed the values for paddles verbaut no niktactiv and started getting errors?

Added 2tb. It worked but car would pop into a manual gear randomly when driving. Assume it's because I didn't disable paddles but haven't tried that.
Feshas had sport + set but since I haven't vo coded again I can't confirm all that is needed. I can say feshas alone won't do it.

Oh, I thought you tried adding 2TB to your FA again; VO coded BDC Body, ICM, Kombi; and then changed paddlesverbaut from active to inactive.

Is your feshasmode5 active? That is actually the one that is sport+. I edited the original post.

The codes below is what I would try to turn on to get Sport+, I would guess 90% of these are already active on your car.

In BDC_BODY? I couldn't find that parameter. I searched the entire module for the word "UNLOCK" and didn't come across anything else that looked like a possibility. Any other ideas? Thanks!

quick question, when you guys have the drivers door open, will the car let you drive? I don't drive the x5 much, but on the other bmw it would never let me. Not sure if I coded something by mistake to allow this to happen, or if it's like this by default on the x5.

This is default behavior for safety. I believe to prevent injury if car starts to roll and door is opened, but not 100% sure on reasoning.

Yeah that is what I thought, but for some reason the x5 is letting me now drive with door open. I will test it again later to see if it was just a fluke, or if some code caused this.

I can move my X5 with the door open as long as I Don't remove my foot completely from the brake pedal.

Be careful. I've done it a few times when moving my car two years ago just to test, and it will kick you into Park hard. There may be coding to turn it off, but I just never bothered to look.
Yes, delvi is correct. If you completely remove foot from brake, the car will shift into Park.

Maybe that is what it was then, I was for sure riding the brake. Although in the 6 series it wouldn't even let me do that. It would stop the car as soon as it rolled.

both my 2007 4.8i and my 2011 35d E70 acted just like your 6 series if I open the door it was like spring loaded in to Park, a pain to try to drive on to ramps to work on them.

It will a little bit, but tough to ghost drive. Though, most of the time I drive with auto-H on. I know other cars like Acura MDX that will immediately get put in park when drivers door is opened.

If you have your foot on the brake or the seatbelt latched you can drive with the door open.

I am using TM's NCD / CAFD Tool and Psdzdata v58.2 for the posted image, but I just checked with E-sys and shows the same info (and order) from cafd_000017be.caf.042_010_054.

E-SYS on high resolution displays

Running E-sys v.3.27.1 and launcher v2.53.108 and it appears poorly adapted to the high res display on my samsung laptop. The dialog boxes are nearly unusable. I was able to get it installed and connected to the car but can't go further simply because I can't see everything.

I tried the high-res fix checkbox while the launcher is starting but it has no effect. Is there a command line code or something I can use to fix this? Searched and found nothing...

Using windows 10. Plain vanilla fresh install. My guess is I have a unique problem.
