If i'm brutally honest from that one shot I can't see an awful lot of difference except it looking more like an SE.
Not alot of effort, about 2 hours start to finish.

They are the grill flares off the M50D but with both driver and off side grills open below the flare (the M50D has the driver side (UK) covered due to the AdBlue tank sat behind it).

You will see the holes are already in your grill ready for these flares but they don't put them into the base M sport models.

If you check my post in the Modding thread you'll see a before and after comparison, unfortunatley I only have an Iphone and the photo's aren't great.

In real life it makes a big difference, in my opoinion, and my wife thinks it's the best mod I've done (and she made it clear that its the last also!!). I really like it really does set the front end off.

Aye, can't agree more......

Black tends to make the style of the wheel disappear! Money well spent for something you can't see......

Nice rides.

A question: Did CT get a bunch of new sequential plates recently? I swear they used to be sequenced differently.

Yup. They changed them in 2015. Now two letters followed by 5 numbers.

I had black wheels on my previous car and when I look back at the pics, sometimes the wheels seems to blend in with the black tires and black car. In person, they made me very happy

I do see why some people prefer lighter color wheels. I bought the wheels with intentions to powdercoat them silver......we'll see

The X5 got a new sibling tonight. My son's new 2016 M235.

The 235 is going for a bit of a makeover tomorrow with 3M Pro Full Clear Bra, 35% tint and black VMR 710's.

BTW, had the 3M pro full bra - Hood, Bumper, Fenders, Mirrors and Lights done on the X5.

Ah...of course. I didn't use any filters or anything of that sort. Just put my camera on a tripod and used long exposure to capture the lighting effects at night.
Debadged, looks so clean.
