Sound from gear shift

As I was driving and stopping at traffic light I kept on hearing a clicking sound that seems to be coming from under the shift stick.
That same sound when you hold the shift button and get ready to shift.

Any thought of that s normal ?

My car have exactly the same problem as yours. Have you figured what’s the problem?

2015 F15 30d the clicking sound comes up randomly it really annoying

Is it loud ? Mine is super low under the shift stick, very slight click. You have to focus to hear it.
