I mulled over 21 and 22s for a while. I chose 22s because I wasn't going OEM and it looked better. These wheels turn heads.

Regardless of which size, your tire options are very limited; for 22s PZero with no tread life and a high price or the all season ASIMMETRICO.

A few points to consider:
-Tire prices for 21&22 are higher and choices limited
-You can't find them everywhere. If you travel and have a blowout you may have to wait. If you have a spare then no worries.
-tires are wider and if you drive on bad roads you tires could pull the car
-run flats are gone and improves the ride of th car but 22s hitting a pothole is still harsh. But overall ride quality is better.
-all season tire wears more evenly than the summer performance tire.

All you need are wheels with the proper offset.
Plug and play.

The P Zeros seem very expensive, are hard to find and I read complaints they don't last very long.

I read more positive things about the Michelin tires. Any clue on how long they last in terms of miles?
PZeros are about 15-20k and the super sports are about 30k. The all season tire will give you about twice that.

But the Michelins aren't run flat, right?

Choices, choices...

Both are non runflat. The Michelin is much cheaper summer tire than the PZero, which is your only choice in 22.

So if you want summer tires, 21s is a better choice for your pocketbook.

The GLE coupe has 22" with similar tires but I do not know what they are running.

I was talking about 21" wheels. Are those Michelins run flat?
