You are welcome - hope you are as impressed as I have been. I had another "test opportunity" this morning with someone blocking the fast lane and a corresponding right lane blocker. A safe opening evolved and with moderate accelerator input the X5 quickly darted into the right lane / passed the left lane blocker / around another right lane cruiser and back into the now clear left lane. Of note, no downshifting took place and no high RPMs required - plenty of power on tap for me. That type of traffic maneuvering with tight gaps is about as aggressive as I am going to get.

This wraps up my review input - thanks for all the input - most pleased that I went this way.

Too few miles to tell - but given it is the in-line 6 gas mileage should not be much of an issue I would think.

I've also got racechip tune stacked on top of the MPPK and I love it. Imagine MPPK with an additional power and punch.

Kzang - I was aware that you had a stacked arrangement and it was working very well. I'll probably "digest" my new arrangement for awhile before considering more of a tune.

Thumbs up to you for the encouragement - get on with it

You guys nailed it on the "pressure issue"

If I keep going down this path I should have just purchased an X5/M

Exactly, because then the responses would be: "Hey, if you can afford a $115K car, why are you squabbling over $10K for HREs?!?!"

BTW my dealer gave me the nastiest loaner ever. absolutely filthy and stripped base x3 28i with less than a quarter tank of gas.

BMW of Bridgewater, NJ?

If so, I'm afraid to go there...

They will figure it out. My issue was they transposed 2 digits of my vin. BMW sends the dealer an authorization code that is vin specific. If they mess up the vin, the software won't install and they'll get errors.

Patience my friend, it's worth the hassle and wait.

a bird has taken issue with the loaner parked in my driveway, seems angry with the mirrors pecking away at it and crapping all over the car. This makes me feel a little better for some reason.

You just can't predict the black cloud (it often hovers above me). I had my worries but proceeded. Install went very smoothly - my dealer had our X5 for about 5 hours (included a detailing) and I had use of a brand new 330 with only 9 miles on it

While my overall luck on BMWs has been quite positive the opposite has been true on other endeavors. I guess it is called life....

Did you ask them to confirm the VIN numbers? My install went exactly the same way.. Finally the issue was that the tech didn't input the correct VIN numbers which caused the crash and number of install issues.
