Winter Tyres fix
Hi All,
I have a spare set of alloys (499M) where I am going to fit a set of winter tyres later in the year. The size is 275/40/20 fronts and 315/35/20 rears. I'm currently on 21" wheels for the summer. Two questions. 1. I do not have a spare wheel due to 3rd row seating, so currently on run flats. As the choice of run flat tyres are limited to expensive options, I am considering non run flat tyres with an emergency repair kit in case of a punctures. Any recommendations what I should be looking for as a permanent or temporary repair kit? 2. What are your recommendations for good winter tyres that are of good value but have great tyre wear and grip. Appreciate your help X5M50D

Could I please get some advice to my old thread asap as I'm now looking into purchasing either all season or winter tyres.
My alloys are 20" M469s staggered. Cheers

I know you're looking for winter use only but have you gone to tirerack.com and seen what is recommended for the F15 X5? There's usually tons of reviews for pretty much all tire brands. And you'll get a competitive price that you can use to then shop around locally. Sorry I was not of much help but hopefully that's a start. |

Sorry mate just realized you're in UK. Um, still check out that website. At least you'll get a good idea of which brands are rated highly, and relative pricing to each other.
