18 inch wheels on X5 50i M Sport

Ive seen conflicting posts about whether 18inch wheels would fit on a 2015 x5 50i m sport? (for winter wheels) theyre from a 2008 e70 4.8 which I believe had the 365mm rotors anyone know if theyll fit?

Well since there seems to be no clear information on this topic, looks like I'll be the white mouse.

It was too good of a deal for basically new winter run flats, so I went ahead and bought the wheel/tire set, worst case ill throw it on my e70 for the winter.

But the e70 18 inch style 209 wheels do fit BARELY on the f15 x5 50i though I feel perhaps I should get 19s anyway but it should work fine if I dont.

See attached pics, perhaps this will help out someone who was wondering.

Do you have any update on style 209 fitting on your F15 50i? I saw a local seller with this style of wheels and snow tires. Not sure if I should pull the trigger. Please let me know.

Watch out for wheel weight to caliper contact.

That's good point. The calipers would fit within the wheel barrel but need to put the weight out like the OP.

Please be careful with old sets, yours look manufactured in 2011. Even if unused if the DOT on the tires is too old, they may not be fit to drive at the indicated speed/load levels.

Not all 18" wheels fit to this car due to the larger brake disc and caliper. The same with 550i that I owned before.

18" wheels shouldn't even be an option on the X5. it looks terrible.

Agree! It's like a very big muscular guy with tiny feet.

But it's alright for winter set up. The wheels will be covered with snow/mud/salt/sand most of the time.

Thanks for all the replies. I decided to get a 19inch style 449 with pirelli winter runflats set just incase for the f15 x5 50i and will use the 18's on my old e70 4.8 (noticed the older tires but I use the old e70 on the weekends occasionally to grocery shop etc so it shouldnt be too dangerous)
