I'm sitting in a parking lot aisle in Queens, NY and I see a beautiful brand new x5 35d M-sport so I decide to just chill by it until my passenger comes back and an old man with a big brief case is hauling towards his civic parked to the right of the x5. He stops, drops his brief case to the ground and seems to see a scratch or something on his car door. looks left and right a couple times takes his key and just bodies the paint with all his might. He looked into my car but the tints blocked him from seeing me. I was going to get involved but I was so devastated because I know how it feels. My hood was keyed 2 weeks after taking it home. Why must people do wrong to others? Smh

So I imagine he thinks the X5 scratched his car, so he thought he would return the favor. Sounds ridiculous. But why wouldn't you say something to him? Or if you want to avoid a confrontation, I hope you got his info (ie license plate) and left it for the X5 driver.

I hope he got the license plate numbers for both cars and reports it to the police. I probably wouldn't have said anything but I would have taken a photo of everything and left a note on the X5 to call me.

I didn't want to get involved but I got the plate and left the driver my number to get it from me over the phone
