First CEL 2014 X5 50i

well today the weather is -5.5 C adter it being plus 7 or 8 and the CEL is gone!!!!!

Does this mean it was not serious? anyone else experience this?

I might or might not be temperature related. Check engine light stays on if the error condition are present, if after multiple restarts error doesn't come back error will be stored but the light will be off.
