Trust me it isn't that noticeable. Too low and on SG it'll blend with your rails and roof tint

IMO the lip is so subtle its one of those mods you just do for yourself. Its noticeable but it doesn't really make the F15 looks better or worse. I like to customize so I got it and personally think it would look great on SG. I actually think CF pieces looks better on SG than white. Not too much contrast but enough to show it off.

You miss one step. Align it, then stick.

Another update. Did my first two mods today. I'm taking it easy so far figure i'll enjoy this nice weather with the new truck and the family instead of installing stuff. Still didn't stop me from putting these two little mods on though. Literally took me 15mins to do both. No need for betalink for the roof spoiler. I just added one more strip of 3M VHB tape to it to give it extra support...that thing isn't coming off unless the paint comes off with it.

A pic for those that want to know where all the tabs are exactly..... (it helps going it with the engine hot and on a sunny warm day)

Nice little badge that comes with the MPPK tune...

How did you get at the side and bottom tabs?

I uses a long screw driver on the sides and fingers on the bottoms.

For the bottom tabs, there is no other way than using your fingers wedged underneath. That's why we've all said to heed to "drive around first to warm up the plastic" tip. It's still a beotch to pop those tabs even with the warm plastic. I have a nice bruise on my hand to prove it.
As for the side tabs, the outboard ones can be reached with a screwdriver, especially as you can pull the top of the grille fwd a bit and expose/see the tab from the top. For the inboard ones, I discovered that they are easily reachable/seen if you remove the plastic air intake shroud (only two screws).
Overall, it's more difficult than it really should be, but once you do it, it all makes sense.
Good luck. If you still get stuck, PM me. Depending on where you are in town, we could meet up and I can help you.

Edit: was just thinking about this more and how bad my bruised hand looks ATM (doesn't hurt at all, just looks like it does)...
Why we all say to use your fingers is that you need to push up on the tabs and since there is little room as it is, a screwdriver does fit, but there is no leverage/pry room. However, I'll now bet that a simple L-bracket from Home Depot will easily pop the tabs. The short leg of the 'L' slips under the grille an rests on the tab. Once you push back on the long side of the bracket, it should pry/push the tab upward and release it. That's my theory anyhoo. You may already have something that would work already in your garage...

Yeah you guys already answered the question for me.

Sides i used a long thin screw driver and the bottom i used my fingers. My engine was hot during the install and it was also a warm day. I managed to push up on the bottom tabs as much as i could and just yanked them right out without damaging anything.

Hey Alan love your mods and your car is beautiful. Quick question I'm in New York and I ordered the MPE, do you know how long it would take to install and the cost. Also where and who do plan on having the installation done by?

The MPE should be a .5 to 1 hour job by any shop. I've seen the pics of the exhaust from underneath and all a shop has to do is cut one pipe, then clamp the new MPE on. The MPE tips just bolts onto the muffler so there should be zero welding involved.

I plan on taking it to my local guy here in Brooklyn that does all of my non DIY work. Frankly this exhaust could be DIY if you buy a cheap pipe cutter online but for me its hard to find time to do it.

I live 10mins away from 180 but I usually do my own work on the car aside from big items like suspension/exhausts

You guys should come out to the Rallye Event next month. I posted a thread about it.

Alan, I have a question about the tips for the MPE. Did you have to buy two tips for $1000? I understand the M sport also needs tips as the stock are not reusable. All your mods are great. Good to know that racechip can be installed with the MPPK.
