I hear ya.....You're right on the 22's...No Offense of course but those 20's look tiny....Don't know why that design always looks so small...Like on previous X5M vs X5 5.0 Sport they both had 20's but somehow the wheel design of the 5.0 wheels made them look big the X5M wheels look too small.. I dunno, but the vehicle looks great

A friend is selling the winter setup off his ex-X6. I'm tempted as these are perfect condition OEM 20" 259s with almost-new RFT Pirelli Scorpions on. (by the way, 259s is my next favorite style after 297s-"Streamlines", that's why I'd love them on my F15 for winter). Yet the big question remains: will those E71 wheels fit to my F15 M-sport? We both tried to search after any precise info, but still not sure. My F15 is only due mid-April so can't simply fit and check.
Any help about the center bore size and offsets will be much appreciated. I've searched all over the BMWs sites (incl. German one) and can't find such info. Thanks guys... Last edited by Luxembourg; 01-18-2014 at 05:07 PM.. |

Sorry to bring up an old thread - just to confirm... You put E70 X5M wheels on an F15. Can someone confirm that my E70 X5 rims (214's) will fit on an F15? Was thinking about keeping them and using them for winter. Thanks again. |

Several threads on this.....the consensus and tests were that yes, E70 rims fit F15. E53, not.

Bump
So, I was talking to a BMW dealer who has a set of 21" 310 style wheels in store but he was adamant that they would not fit my F15. They were for E70/E71. Different product numbers and offset etc according to him...
I believe he was only looking at his computer screen and when entering the code for the wheel set just E70/71 came up and he didn't know any better. But it made me very unsure when the dealer specifically told me not to buy them. Wheels in question were Front ET40 10JX21 Rear ET38 11,5JX21 Looking at a set of 21" Style 627 specifically for the F15 they have the exact same numbers. And as far as I know they have the same bolt patterns? Anything different with the M50d? So wtf? Am I safe in buying them and just fitting TPMS sensors? They are quite far away from me and returning them won't be an option so I want to be 100% sure before purchase. Grateful for input. |

I'm about to get a 5.0i M-sport and am wondering if my E70 209 18" rims will clear the brakes? I've researched and understand that the hub size is the same between the E70 (non-M) and the F15's so that's good. I just don't want to have to sell my brand new 209 18" snow package.
