Michelin Premier LTX Inbound!
I had my BMW dealer order a set of these today, mounted, balanced, out the door $1,142. I'm having them installed on the 25th. Non-RFT's
Why? I have 2,100 miles on the factory Pirelli Scorpions RTF's, they are stiff and a bit harsh on bumps and seams. On worn pavement they are LOUD and I'm getting buzzing appearing all over the interior. Steering column buzz, oak trim across the dash buzz, right corner of the dash buzz, ridiculous and getting worse the more I drive on these tires. On smooth pavement they are fine, moderate noise and no buzz. Also reports are the LTX are very good in the wet and snow which would avoid me having to buy a 2nd set of wheels and snow tires. We don't get that much snow here, ice is more common. Hopefully the buzzing will subside or at least not get any worse.    |
