Looks like 2018 X5 & X5M configurators are now up...

...at last. There is a little different approach to the configurator for 2018.

I did a Build your Own on the BMWNA website, and it shows a pic of the new iDrive 6.0, but building a 3.5i or 35d....there is not (at least I cannot find) an option or package that shows digital instrumentation. No pics, no mention of it at all!

Are we sure 2018 X5 now is available with digital instruments? Also, adding the M Sport Line, deletes a lot of colour options for the exterior.

I don't know if anyone can confirm, but it seems comfort access is included with the 35i M-sport package. If you choose X-line, you can add comfort access in the 'premium tier' for $1,150, but it's not an option with M-Sport which is why I think it may also be included.

Also, in the 50i builder, if you select an x-line, you can add dynamic dampers + rear air suspension for $1,500. Is that basically the same as adaptive M suspension without needing the M-sport package?

Thanks.

What's this tier nonsense. Give us back the individual pick and choose. It's pretty confusing now, a lot of the options don't show up unless you go back and pick a "tier".
Also I don't see the 3rd row.
My target build was this, will they be able to make it (I did it using ordering guide)..?
Also website doesn't say anything about digital cluster on Executive, or LED.

It's odd, I spoke to a dealer yesterday, and he said "oh yeah, sometimes the web site is not fully updated when they make major changes, so I am not sure if we can can order". I asked him to check his system and get back to me because another dealer was able to add 3rd row in his system and send me a build sheet asking for deposit.

I think there are few other things still missing, like LED lights, and definitely 6WB, we're sure that's being added, right?

I also don't see a heated steering wheel option in the 50i builder and it's not listed in the standard equipment (unless I missed it). It's a standalone option in the 35i builder.

What is the difference between dynamic damper control and m adaptive suspension. I want M sport X5d.

Comfort access is not an option online. Is it standard on diesel?

Anyone????
