I think 20mm in front is too aggresive, youre saying I can't go in more? Like 10mm or something.
That would depends on what wheel they are putting on.
If you are buying aftermarket wheels and it require spacers thicker than 10mm, that is not right.
Maybe that wheel is not designed for your car.
It was made to order with the offset id assume.
22" AG M615 10.5 front 11 in rear.
I wanted to see if i can get spacers less than 20mm in the front.
Unfortunately, the only thing less than 20mm would be 5mm for the front.
If it is custom cut, you shouldn't take it if the offset is not what you like.

These spacers are 74.1 CB.

I'll PM you the price.
Would I be able to still go wider in the rear? Like a 20-25mm?

So going 5mm/20mm is an option but might look off?

Hmm, which style of wheel is that? I couldn't figure out which OEM 20x9.5 wheels that you are using.
Post the picture if you don't know which style.

Trying to decipher the front xDrive limitations. Does it apply on a 2014? What are my options? Thinking 15/20 based on some pics I've seen.

Any need for longer wheel bolts, or are the stock ones long enough to cover the increased widths? I added spacers on my 911 and had to upgrade the lug bolts. Just curious as this 15/20 set up looks like something I'd like to do...

Yes, you will need longer lug bolts.
You can't do 15/20 on your 2015 X5, only 5/15 or anything thicker than 15mm on the from.

I have a 2014 X5 35d x drive.

So to clarify, I'd I have a pre November 2014 production date, I should be able to go 15mm front and 20mm rear.

But if I have a post November 2014 production date then I can only go 5mm front and for rears can still do 20, but 15mm might be but more even in appearance?

How do I find out when my production date was?

Also I've also been searching for spacers for our f series x5. But havnt cone across where sells them. Will our f15 fit all spacers for any f series car?

Thanks!

PM me the last 7 of your VIN and I'll find out your production date.

The spacer will only fit F chassis X5/X6/X5M/X6M and some E chassis X5/X6/X5M/X6M.

So that I don’t have to search through 11 pages, what changed between 14 and 15 that calls for different spacers? I don’t have them on my fronts, but just curious.

The front hub height or lip is taller or longer.

For MY11/14 and after, 5mm Front and 15mm Rear is the recommended size.

Here is the picture on 5mm Front and 15mm Rear.

sorry for posting on the wrong thread. My car is an older X6 E71, does the 15mm front spacer problem affects my car as well? or just the newer ones?

I just recently purchased H&R wheel spacers. 15mm front (#3075740) and 20mm rear (#4075725).
also noticed that during installation, when placed on the hub, the front spacers move freely by hand, easy to mount on to the hub (you can spin it by hand).

However, the rears are somewhat tight, I did remove the rust from the hub bore using wire brush. (It can also be moved by hand with some force, this was after I applied some hi temp grease on the hub). but still, it is a tighter fit compared to the fronts. Both of my rear hubs are like this. I was wondering if my hub bore was very slightly bigger for some reason or the bore of the wheels spacer was slightly smaller.
Front Hub size of X6 is 74.1 and Rear is 72.5

I'm just kinda concerned that during driving, the hub of the car might expand due to heat and might affect the durability of the spacer.

Not sure on E70. I never play around with E70.
