No 3rd row b/c the batteries have to go somewhere and up high on the roof wouldn't work well... I debated long and hard about the diesel v. the e. I chose the e b/c I don't do any long distance drives on a regular basis. Short 12 mile hop to work and then 12 miles back home. Lowes/Home Depot (aka, the Borg) and Costco/grocery store runs which are all a few miles from the house. Downside is it takes forever to charge. Upside is I can use 120v to charge it since my electrical panel is maxed out. I have solar so I get my electricity cheap. Downside for diesel is it smells, the pumps are always oily, my Costco doesn't carry diesel, and diesel prices are super volatile (higher than premium when gas was stupid expensive a while back). California refineries supply Vegas so as their market goes so does ours. Regardless, it is a win-win situation no matter which flavor of X5 you get.
