They are but your local deal can tell u how much is programming. If anyone here can help in that to save some cash on that then it would be a good idea.

have you confirmed the keys can be reprogrammed like you mention in the original post?

i called a bunch of dealers because i could really use the extra keys at a great deal like this for a couple projects and all dealers said once assigned a VIN/programmed once, they cannot be reprogrammed.

Ok looked all over and what i found was this. Anyone here can correct me if I am wrong.

The transponder keys can only be reprogrammed once. My keys have never been reprogrammed so they still hold the single shot.

The dealer wouldn?t want to do it because they want to charge obscene fees for the keys and the reprograming of them.

The one who can do it though is a good reputable locksmith. It?s part of their job to make more than one key.

I have parted out a few items from the car. The keys are being sold at my discretion.

What are you doing today my friend?

Makes sense. Since we are all enthusiasts here, just was trying to see where you were going with all this. You had the car listed as a lease takeover, but at the same time parting out some major pieces of the vehicle such as keys, steering wheel, headlights/fog lights, airbag, etc. etc.

Just a bit confused since it looks like you're parting out a leased car, so maybe you can shed some lights on this for us.

Thanks!

when it's towed away by a repo guy, they don't need the keys. Most of the time, people like this have savaged several high value parts off the vehicle, such as airbags, etc. that are able to be quickly removed and sold for a personal gain.

I'm surprised the NBT wasn't listed here for sale as well! lol
