ECE Coding of Lights
Does anyone know what the process is behind coding lights to function like the ECE lights? There have to be people that know but they seem tight lipped about the subject. I'm not talking about replacing the lights to the ECE version right now or what wiring needs to be done. I'm only asking what coding needs to be done.

There are a number of possible things you can mean with this question. ‘Euro’ lights can include variable light distribution, anti-dazzle adaptive LEDs, pedestrian spot lights and rear fog lights. Firstly, do you have HID or LED headlights? Second, which features are you looking to add?
This will be good start. |

If you have an US car, and want to code backlight Euro, the hardware is limited. There is no amber and no fog light.
As for the headlight it’s a matter of what are you looking for? |
