Passenger mirror no longer tilting?

I have an issue with the passenger mirror intermittently working and not working. I have the mirror switch in the proper position and even flipped it for good measure.

I've read some previous posts that resulted in user error and nothing was all that recent. I park in a pretty tight garage spot and appreciate the mirror tilting down. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Never had this issue before.. you tried switching the switch to both left and right side?
I forget which side it is on for the mirrors to tilt.. I think it is left side.

Yep... switched it to both sides. Funny thing is it happened the first time right after getting my tints done... it autocorrected itself and was fine for a few weeks. It started again this past Friday after getting it hand washed... it's making me think there might be a short somewhere...

Hmm if it happens during a rainstorm then you might have something here
Take it to the dealer to get it sorted out..

The dealer is next... i start here because the collection of minds and intelligence on this forum supersedes that of the dealer (and I actually like my dealer)!
