F15 2015 Remote start, NBT EVO...etc retrofits.
I’m interested in adding Remote start, NBT EVO, and a 4G ATM module to my F15 2015 and needed recommendations on what to look for?
For my remote start, Bimmertech is selling a remote start kit: https://www.bimmer-tech.net/category...start-retrofit I have a spare fob key for this kit and needed feedback or recommendations on anything else y’all used. For the NBT EVO, I’m relying on OEM items from eBay, but I’m also interested in aftermarket items as well. Issue is, I cannot find any good aftermarket items without losing any features in my car. Lastly, for the ATM module, I was instructed to call the BMW Dealership and purchase an ATM module and install it. But (since I’m inexperienced) doesn’t upgrading the NBT EVO also add the ATM Module or not? (My apologizes if I sound dumb, new to this type of stuff) |

NBT/ID6 retrofit I think is rather straight forward, if you're going off ebay thats likely the easist. ~1100 for the head unit itself, more if you add in touch screen/new idrive knob. I do not believe the 'standard' head unit upgrade includes the ATM.

So I’d need to buy an ATM module separate. Would swapping the ATM affect the GPS or RTTI?

Bimmertech remote start is a great kit but you need to follow the instructions very closely and triple check all pin connections. It's not a hard diy if you follow this.

Yea and like....I don't quite get some of the things they charge for. Adding SXM radio is a $499 option on the ID6 swap? isnt that....standard in every one of them? |
