MPBK - Stainless Steel Lines Worth It and other questions?

I just ordered the MPBK kit along with the drilled F85M rotors front and back.

My one question is it worth the money for the labor and parts to replace the stock brake lines with stainless lines such as the kit from ECS or a similar kit?

My other question is do the original rotors from the MPBK kit have much resale value on this forum or am I better off going the eBay route?

Any problems I should expect during the install of the F85 rotors? Most comments I saw regard not being able to install the screw on the rear rotor, difficulty with the e brake, and installing the rear dust shields. Are those all pretty standard issues and any others that might be noticed?

Lastly, my dealer locally completely sucks. I know another member on this forum that just did the upgrade at my local dealer and ran into problems during coding. Can the coding be done remotely and is there a specific contact you can point me to if so? I’ll pay for the service. Just trying to avoid a dealer visit since I had a bad experience during my MPPK install and the other member had the issue with the brake coding.

Thanks in advance.

You will never notice the SS lines. Although they are an upgrade. Maybe if you tracked they would add benefit but not to a DD.

Thanks for the response. I hear ya on that. It is only a daily driver. I will be towing a boat on weekends next summer so I just am trying to cover all bases on the best brakes outside of just looks. Figure if they are already torn apart, it's not much more to add a line kit if it is going to make any difference.

Oh agree. I'm adding them to mine cuz for $100 or so why not. Spend more than that on pads for just the front. Sooo ya. I've always put them on my cars.
