There was a scammer trying to sell the same (type of) splitter under two different names for the same price recently.

Haven't seen any postings here for this type of splitter in a long while unless you're referring to someone sending you a PM and telling you to email someone off the forum? That's a common scam on here.

Plus I doubt this one's a scam since the OP says pick up only so a buyer can just go get it in person.

Relax take a deep breath and think real hard the thread you're referring to is 2K for complete replica set of lip,skirts,diffuser. This thread is for a legit 3D front lip with papers that retail for 2500+ which btw seller is firm about local pickup only so where do you see the correlation in this? If you have no actual proof that this seller is a scammer its best to keep quiet as you can get banned for potentially ruining ones classified thread

Not taking sides here, but always have your guard up when it comes to members with little to no posting history yet listing expensive items for sale. A "local pickup only" can very quickly turn into an excuse in your DM as to why it'll be easier to ship after all.

We've had it happen here on the forums many, many times.
