I already have a black anthrazite one specced, just not sure if alcantara add on would be worth it. Thanks.

@1230vani is it an option or you need to retrofit it?
I know that you can retrofit it, but not sure about ordering with it as the option.

Thanks, its an option to have it (Europe).

The alcantara will certainly make the cabin feel more premium. Also, since not many people have it, it might help resale value down the road.

looks like this headliner option is only available in EU spec vehicles and not NA spec

Definitely not an option in NA. But it boggles my mind why Europe has this as an option and NA market does not? They can also order full black nappa leather interior. We have to decide 2 pretty crappy choices, mocha and ivory (with ivory carpets)

Right! Which doesn't make sense, I understand not giving us the exclusive M interiors (Mugello Red Leather for instance) but can't order an all black (nappa) leather is ridiculous. They give us 2 shitty choices IMO!

I have it in my F85 ... i like the look of the Alcantara better ... however I could not justify wasting $$ to go to Alcantara if already black

Thanks to all. Well it didn't make the cut mainly for $$ reasons. Advantage is obviously exclusivity and individuality, durability and looks

. Did hear from a friend that the actual so called "thickness" is very thin compared to some other sports cars. Not sure how to explain it well. Anyways, car comes loaded with nice things and in Europe most of them are a completely separate option. Got a good deal but i maxed up that car. Cheers

Yea, I hear you 1230vani , My 650GC was standard in the Alcantara roof liner, and my 997.1 C4S also standard. Now when I jump in to my X5, I felt that something is missing.
