austin area coding help (airbag light)
made an idiot move yesterday by unplugging my airbag with my key in my pocket, throwing the airbag light. anyone have the tools to help me reset? I'm in central austin. TIA

just curious, how do you unplug your airbag? where's the plug at?
and you can buy the tools on amazon for around $60 if you want the dashcommand app, or even cheaper if you get the standard OBDII autoscanner. Or you can pick it up at a local auto parts store I'm sure. |

klerk , I believe you just need to let the car sleep and it will reset by itself.

I remember that I did that before too and it reset by itself. Maybe it didn't plugged back properly or need some drive and it will re-learn that the airbag is indeed there. For sure I didn't do anything to get it go away.
