Auto High Beam Question

I have been playing with my auto high beam codes in an effort to tackle the anti-dazzle search. I lost my auto high beam function with one of our previous changes and I now have it back. My question is this:

My auto high beams will only kick in at 25 mph and will automatically shut off once I go below 20 mph. I don't remember these limitations being present before. Is this the standard setting that others have observed?

Thanks

Mine has always been that way, and given where I live, I'd like to change that to kick in at lower speeds.

Those settings sound about right. I think there is some coding that can be done to alter the threshold speeds though I don't have it to hand right now.

I'll try to take a look over the weekend and report back.

I found the code that deals with this .

Below speeds are in HEX VALUE: 00—> 0, 08—> 8, 1F—> 31, 32—> 50, 64—> 100, FF—> 255

BDC_Body / C_HBA_ENA_V_HI / default value = 46 (43 mph) - this is the speed when the HBA enables

BDC_Body / C_HBA_ENA_V_LO / default value = 3C (37 mph)- this is the speed when HBA disables

Omar - Please check my BDC Body file that you have. Mine is till turning on at 25 mph and off below 20 mph. My guess is that the default was changed for late model 2015 last year.

JP, that's where I pulled the numbers and compared them. I can manually check for you later tonight.
