2015 X5 35d Coolant codes
I have a 2015 X5 35d
I have had plenty of work done to the car but need help getting rid of some codes. I have replaced the drive belt after it ripped. The pully, gaskets around the engine. Replaced the oil cooler gaskets, and intake manifold gaskets. I had a coolant leak for a bit before it was fixed, not sure this could of caused any of the coolant leaks. I have the EGR recall work done on it twice. Here are the 4 codes that come back and I do not know where to start with the work. 241F00 Preheat Control Unit: Output stage cylinder 1 faulty 290B00 Air mass system measured air mass too low 2B5400 Coolant Pump, low-temperature EGR, activation: open circuit 2C3100 Auxiliary Coolant pump for low-temperature EGR: Does not respond. I found the air mass system measured air mass too low about a vacuum leak has something to do when I took off the intake manifold and will inspect it. Last edited by razdan; 10-11-2023 at 09:58 PM.. -this sounds like the unit that controls your glow plugs might be faulty, or a bad glow plug in that cylinder…. 290B00 Air mass system measured air mass too low -You Tube smoke test, you might have a leak somewhere you need to find. There’s also a sensor for that to the back of your intake manifold. Look it up on “RealOEM”. Could be your valve cover seal needs replacement. Is there oil somewhere on the engine? 2B5400 Coolant Pump, low-temperature EGR, activation: open circuit -look up EGR Temperature sensor… 2C3100 Auxiliary Coolant pump for low-temperature EGR: Does not respond. -https://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1544283 |
