Nail in tire

thoughts on if Costco will warranty replace this or am I better off just pulling it out and saving a trip there.

It's on the inner sidewall and I'm pretty sure it's not leaking

I think it will all depend on who you talk to, how busy they are, etc. I have had good luck getting tires warrantied, however it all depends on the guy behind the desk...

Nobody here would know, and it's pointless to ask us. We can't speak for Costco.

Did you purchase a road hazard warranty from COSTCO or did the tire come with a road hazard warranty? If you did, what does the warranty say?

If you didn't purchase a road hazard warranty...I can't think of a reason why they would cover this under warranty.

EDIT: just did a quick google search for COSTCO Road Hazard Warranty...this is what it says: https://tires.costco.com/RoadHazardW...ons?lang=en-US

there's nothing wrong with that tire, the damage is superficial. Waste of everyones times imo.

From the picture it seems, as if is minor damage on surface only.

I'd agree that this looks like a relative non-issue for that tire (particularly if it's an RFT with the thick sidewalls). If you're going anyway and have some warranty you might as well ask but I wouldn't sweat it if they turn you down. Best of luck.
