Electric running boards…
Do any members have recommendations (or horror stories) for adding fold-out running boards/side steps to a 2018 X5 40e.
I have regular passengers (old and very young) that would benefit from a solid side step lower than the door frame. Thanks. |

You'll probably have far less problems with a set of comfy springs that sit a little lower than stock...if you have air in the back (not sure if all 40e's have this) it can easily be tricked to sit lower.

Thanks - I'll take a look and see if I can achieve the height change I'd need without affecting how the car drives.
I've seen plenty of discussion on here about springs/shocks/lowering etc. |
