Thank you topspeed55 for that info! I was pretty bummed this morning when I had to floor it to get around someone..not used to that coming from a b58.

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the bm3 this weekend along with getting a charge pipe and the MPE. I wonder how the sound would be if I put a hiflow cat on. Don’t want raspy or drone. Do you know what numbers you are putting down with the stage 2 tune? Luckily here, we have 93 octane.

hi all

what are you using post tune to check your times and boost? I just did a stage 2+ DITUPA tune with Wagner intercooler upgrade to my X6 3.0D euro version and was curious to try it out numbers wise.

Well to give you an update by seat of the pants. this tune from DITUPA is awesome. I am at stage 2+ (egr delete) and it pegs the HP at 320 very quickly also is so quick now. the the trans with their tune is much smoother. you can use the car now with the door open or in reverse and don't just to park. I was surprised how easy and quick the change of tune was using my iPhone took maybe 20 min or less for both trans and engine. Speed limiter is also gone and the pressure plate values are increase for more positive engagement.

you can see the difference putting it into eco which is now just stock tune mode.
have to wait a tank to see the milage difference.

very happy with the car now im sure I will be heavy foot drive now..

For those of you who flashed to BM3, did you change your spark plugs? If so, did you keep the same gap or go 1 step colder?

My X5 has 48k miles and I don't believe the plugs have ever been changed.

I went one step colder when I did stage 2. If you need to change anyway, I would go colder.

Hi all,

I have been looking at tunes for my 50i and I am kind of drawn to the BM3 91 OTS maps. How has the reliability been for everyone? and what plugs are you running?
