LASER light legal now

Did they change the laws in US lately? I thought laser was still a European thing only. New G05 now offers LASER lighting.

Literally asked this question two weeks ago. Yes they've been legal for a couple years it would appear.

I don't think it is legal in the US yet, unless they dumb down the laser just to meet the old DOT rules. As of now, I dont think the smart LED headlights even legal in the US yet. Just look at the option list of the current F15 for US for confirmation. If DOT passes the new rule, it probably makes big news story with BMW, MB... cheering all over already !!!

Pretty sure I literally just said yes and they've been legal for many years. But this is just what someone told me based on some article they posted.

This is what I've found myself is that they're not including the super cool LED lights Benz came up with that actually show symbols on the road line Navi turns or walk ways for pedestrians letting them know you see them. I'll try and find the thread where someone showed me an article saying their legal.
