Longest ladder that fits inside the x5?

Hi All. What's the longest ladder you've been able to put inside the x5? Preferably with the gate closed. Ladder specs??? It's that time of year! Thanks in advance.

Just moved into my first house, so I never really had my own. I will be sure to buy one when I get the ladder

Thanks! This is actually my dilemma. I was trying to decide between the 17', the 20', or the 22'. So the 22' Little Giant fits?

They do make a lighter version, costs more though and you have to get it from Little Giants web site. I have the 22' "lite" version and I can handle it by myself but it's still not that light. I guess why would you need to transport it in your X5? Get it shipped to your house and that's where you would use it. The Little Giant is a great product, it has replaced several ladders.

Appreciate the info. I was looking to pick up a used one, but the lighter version might be the way to go. Thanks!

Yeah, they are not cheap but I can attest to the fact they are a great, versatile ladders. I also have the plank so you can make a scaffolding. The ladder almost paid for itself when I used it when painting the walls and ceiling going up stairs from first floor to second, the adjustable legs were perfect.

Sorry all, back to BMW and enough about ladders.

Just to take this post full circle, I finally bought a ladder during this past week's Home Depot sales (pick-up only *edit delivery is now available -_-). I got the 22' Gorilla ladder for $99 which is still currently on sale and weighs 40 lbs. Fits pretty close to the driver's seat at a storage height of 5.6ft (See pictures).

The 26' storage height is listed online as 6.56ft, so it should fit straight thru the center console with the cargo cover off. Happy Holidays!
