As in the title... I think it's possible towing a M2... but which hitch is right for towing a M2 and which trailer is better, considering also the total weight of car and trailer?

Definitely possible. I have had good luck with these:

Suggest using BMW factory wiring and do not tow without both trailer brakes and a good brake controller.
