Gotta say, you have GREAT TASTE in both cars & colors ... - I say this because I drive Bimmers too (great cars those things) and all of them are in some shade of black (great colors)

Well done mate!

My place is 2800 Sq feet and only 18 feet wide. But it is almost 90 feet long. No yard, no driveway (but an extra space to park outside the garage door). 4 patios (including rooftop) at different levels. Most of the windows face front (south) or on the Pacific side (west). All the ceilings are at least 9 feet (and in some locations 20 feet) and all the doors (including closets) are 8 feet. Tall, long, and skinny. If we both had F15s we would be in trouble (e.g., I would be parking outside).

Thanks for info. Actually, many of houses' 2-cars-garages are truly small. Some of our members have posted their pictures before, their cars are side by side, too.

Here are some info I know...

2012 house in Irving, CA. 2-cars - 20' wide insides. 1 garage door.
1950 house in NYC. 2-cars - 18' wide insides. 1 door.
1910 house in Seattle. 2-cars - 16' wide insides. 1 door.
1996 house in Vancouver, BC. 3-cars - 36' wide insides. 3-doors.
You're surprised metropolitan houses don't have huge, wide garages? Check the suburbs and rural areas and you will find the elbow room you seek

And.... Vancouver is not in the US . I know you said "American" which I suppose could mean "North American," but I don't think I've heard many Canadians refer to themselves as "American" lol.

Thought I would update my original thread.

My 2015 Jet Black, Black Dakota xLine has moved on to some other lucky owner. I did not do much to mod the car (not my thing and was leasing), but I did add the MPPK and the RaceChip Ultimate. It was my first SUV and it was a blast.

My lease is up in March 2018 and I had the same dilemma as many others:

1. Should I extent my lease until I could get my hands on a G05.
2. Should I take a look at the bigger wheel base X3 M40i that is supposed to be available in mass 1Q2018.
3. Try to find a great deal on MY2017.
4. Get one of the last F15s - MY2018.

The dealers seem to be under pressure to move existing stock of X5s. The incentives are off the charts so......

I went ahead last night and moved to a MY2018 F15. The new machine:

2018 Msport - Carbon Black - Mocha Dakota Leather

-2PW 20" Light/Alloy Wheels Double Spoke (469m)
-2TB Sport Automatic Transmission (standard)
-2VF Adaptiv M Suspension
-3AG Backup Camera (standard)
-3MC Ind.roof Rails High-gloss Shadow Line
-337 M Sport Package
-4CV Fine-wood Trim American Oak
-4FF Comfort Seats In Rear
-417 Roller Sunblind, Rear Side Windows
-481 Sport Seats F Driver/front Passenger
-488 Lumbar Support Driver/front Passenger
-494 Seat Heating F Driver/front Passenger
-5AG Lane Change Warning
-5AS Driving Assistant
-5A1 Led-fog Lights
-5DL Surround View
-5DP Park Assistant
-508 Park Distance Control
-563 Lights Package
-6CP Apple Carplay Preparation
-6NW Telephony With Wireless Charging
-6WD Wifi Hotspot
-609 Navigation System Professional
-610 Head Up Display
-655 Satellite Radio (of course)
-688 Harman/kardon Surround Sound System
-710 M Leather Steering Wheel
-715 M Aerodynamics Package
-760 Individual High-gloss Satin Chrome (Shadowline)
-8S4 Decoding Variable Light Distribution
-8TH Speed Limit Info
-8TN Daytime Driving Lights Selectable B
-840 High Speed Synchronization

Pictures to come tomorrow. I finally got the free cargo net in the back hatch area. Carbon Black is awesome.....Black during the night and Batmobile Blue during the day.

I assume that I can put my RaceChip Ultimate in this machine. So far I am not sure if I need the MPPK that installed in my MY2015. This car seem much faster than my MY2015 xLine. I would love to hear thoughts on this......
