Transport Mode- 3weeks after delivery? CarPlay and radio issues too

Hi guys - had my car 3 weeks now and love it.

X5 40e alerted me through Bmw app it was in transport mode - driving characteristics have not changed but dealer told me not to drive it and they are sending a flat bed and a loaner.

What's the deal with this occurring randomly weeks after taking it off the lot?

Also- when I connect CarPlay, the radio no longer works - with or without apps running on the phone like waze etc - any advice?
