$460//\\2016 X5 40e (Hybrid) Lease Takeover
2016 X5 40e 475 Black Sapphire Metallic LCSW Black Dakota Leather 6NS Smartphone Integration ZCW Cold Weather Package ZPP Premium Package 323 Soft Close Automatic Doors 3AG Rearview Camera 688 Harman Kardon Surround Sound Last 7 VIN: 0F74833 (attached pdf detailed spec sheet) Extras: Minor cording (folding mirrors, 100% halos, blinking hard brake, 5 flash turn ...etc) Tinted 3M 15% front windows BMW Financial Services Lease Details: MSRP = $70,820 Lease Start Date = 9/27/2016 Lease End Date = 9/27/2019 Term: 36 months Current Miles = ~40800 (still being driven) Total allowed miles = 47,965 Excess Charge Per Mile = $0.25 Charge Per Mile before lease expiration = $0.23 Monthly Payment = $529.58 (including VA taxes) about $460 if you apply the incentive of $750 Residual = $39,032.29 (unheard of for this 70k car) Security Deposit = $3,500 (MUST get this back minus incentive) Always been maintained at the local dealer at the recommended intervals Before I sign the lease transfer papers I must receive the security deposit (MSD) of $3,500 minus $750 incentive, so basically I will be owed $2750, remember YOU will get back $3500 when you return the vehicle to BMW. The buyer needs to cover the BMW transfer fee, shipping and inspection fees if applicable. I am the first owner. The car comes with the 120/240 charger, manual and 2 keys. If you already have a VA hybrid tag and you currently use the HOV lane you can transfer to this vehicle and drive in the HOV lane on 66 (outside the beltway and other highways around this area). This alone cuts my commute time in half. Check all the rules before making any decision solely based on this. The car comes with maintenance plan which I believe that program ended in 2016, so oil changes, brake pads, and other normal items are covered by BMW. Also BMW connected service is active till 2021 I believe. I just discovered that the maintenance plan is no longer transferable to someone outside the household link below to verify. Basically all you have to do is charge/gas and drive. Most of my driving is on the highway, so I get around 30mpg, my daily commute is 50 miles round trip and I do not have a charging station at work. Those with shorts commutes and charging stations at destination can average close to 30mpg if not better. For transparency, the car was rear ended about a year ago, the airbags were NOT deployed. The damage was contained to the rear bumper and exhaust tip which resulted in having both the bumper and the exhaust being replaced. There was not structural damage or paint and none of the panels was even scratched. Since it was practically brand new, USAA authorized using genuine BMW parts, and it was repaired at the local BMW dealer in Fairfax, VA. I have pictures of the damage before it was repaired. Anyone who sees the car or rides in it always thinks I just picked it up from the dealer. It is always clean inside and out, no pets have ever been in the car and I do not smoke. The only beverage ever brought in the car is my sealed coffee mug. As long as this ad is up the vehicle is available. I drive too many miles and I figured I would pass on this amazing unheard of deal to a forum member. Lastly, I live and work in the DC metro area, so obviously if you are local things are much easier, but as you know it is not hard to inspect and ship the car at your expense either. On the other hand, you can fly up here I will pick you up from Dulles Airport and you can have a wonderful road trip back home. You can PM me if you want, I personally prefer SMS to my google voice number 202683731 two I do not answer this number it is only for texting. https://www.bmwusa.com/explore/bmw-v...onditions.html Swapalease link http://www.swapalease.com/lease/deta...?salid=1280800 Last edited by HZX540e; 08-17-2018 at 05:37 PM.. Someone who needs a weekend grocery getter may consider...
The truck has 27+K miles in slightly more than a year. The residual is ~20K miles in 2 years (till 9/2019) may be a bit less for many! Besides, it's missing 2-4 cylinders :roll eyes:!

You are right, this car will meet someone's needs. There is not much I can do about the missing cylinders, I can tell you it came that way seriously though, unless the battery is near zero the car is really perky and is a lot of fun to drive.

No dice on Swap-A-Lease?
I was thinking about trying to get out of mine if my Model3 ever comes in but not sure it's an option or that the Model3 will ever get to me =) |

No luck with CarMax or Swap-a-Lease?
I've got a year left on my 40e too (but I'm not over on miles) and I've occasionally thought about trying to swap out but figured that the MSD's would make things more complicated. |
