My First BMW - Maintenance Plan
Hi everyone!
I’m new here, I bought my 2014 BMW X5 sdrive25d 4 days ago and tomorrow I’m plannnig to be doing the oil and filter changing but I’d like to have a plan to do all maintenance to helps avoid any future problem. I’ve doing my research and I’ll list what I’ve found if I need remove or pop anything more appreciate all the help! 😁 The car is a BMW X5 Sdrive25d 2014 138,000km Last owner changed brake pads, disks rotors, brake pad wire with 125,000km Oil leak with 125,000km and changed the valve cover gasket My research: Doing tomorrow Engine oil changing - Castrol Edge 5w30 LL Oil filter Air filter Cabin filter Planning to do in October Belt and pulleys Serpentine belt Oil pan gasket leaks check Valve cover leaks, was leaking and fixed - done Valve cover gasket changed with 125k - done All breaks pads, disc and wire changed 125k - done Changing transmission fluid and pan filter Front and rear differential fluid Transfer case fluid Will need to reset adaptations afterwards with a scanner Refresh the cooling system Coolant flush Coolant pipe flange Check spark plugs Front seal guard Engine oil cooler Water pump Intercooler boost charge pipe metal aluminium |

Full cooling refresh with that little mileage? Are the 25d particularly needy in that department?
Other than that seems like a great list for a long term ownerships proposition. |
