Just saw a M50d today and I was looking for a place for them to place the battery loading socket, so I didnt look that closely, but it looked to me like the upper half of the side vents on both sides was closed and on the lower part behind these was a radiator/intercooler. Atleast I know for 100% sure the left lower part was open as I inspected that side. I have the car next weekend, so I can look more closely if I remember and someone needs this info???

So my car finally got delivered, and here is a few pictures of a schyzofrenic X5.
If you look closely, you will see that on the driver side, the chrome bar of the m50d is present on the bumper. On the other side it is not (standard delivery) So it is possible to put the chrome strips on an M bumper, and IMO it looks great, so I will have it adapted on both sides ( the bumper needs to be removed for this) One problem : the M50d bumper is different from all others and has a little slot on the side to fix the strip...which my bumper doesn't have. On the chrome strip there is notch for this. We decided to cut the notch off and it still holds fine. On the detailed picture you can see 2 strips, one with the notch, the other with the notch removed. Sorry for the bad quality of pictures...iphones are not the best for close-up shots |

Great minds think alike. I was planning on doing this mod since I first saw the M50d.
Are the holes for the pins already in the grille inserts? I haven't looked closely enough.

Just ordered my set from here: http://www.rgsportshop.com/index.php..._category=true
Seems a little more expensive but they've sent the set straightaway. |

We are on Thanksgiving Holiday today and tomorrow. I have sent out your order yesterday. But, since it is a holiday over here, the Post Office won't start processing the shipment until after the holiday.
