Remus Powerizer vs race chip

Hi all, wanted to get opinions on whether anyone has used a Remus powerizer before?

Apparently it's a plug and play and can be removed before getting the car serviced to avoid warranty issues.

Is it true that race chips would affect the warranty of the car?

Looks like Remus copied Racechip or vice versa on the housing design.

Racechip also can be removed prior to servicing your car at the dealer.

AFAIK, they both uses the same manufacturer and most likely the same firmware.
Some says, Remus is a rebrand of RaceChip. You never know until the REAL manufacturer gave the insides.

So race chip doesn't make their own tunes?

That is unknown.

I believe there are plenty of European company claims that their tune is their own, even though they all looks the same.
If I don't get it wrong, ACS, Kelleners, Remus, uses the same unit (looks wise, I don't know the internals).

Haha, who knows, may be all of the tunes are actually made in China, they all just rebrand and market them in Europe lol

Add velos. Same case. They claim their internals.

BMS is the only unit out with data. Buy it or Racechip from Ben. Great guy !

Rumor is 2 different tests coming this week on Racechip vs BMS on a 50.......

I posted stock vs MPPK vs MPPK plus Dinan on the 35, but my wife has made threats that I take seriously about any more mods to her ride !

That I have no information as no one ever bought one.
And IMHO, I wouldn't buy a tune from an exhaust manufacturer. Especially when it does have a same packaging as the more popular brand that is known for being a tuning company.

From my understanding people would remove the unit before servicing. The servicing department would also not know there was the unit in there even if they go through the diagnostic parameters of the vehicle..? Would that be correct?

If they want to, there is always a way to find it.

Yes Remus is a re-branded Racechip, using Racechip module.

But so is ActiveAutowerke8 and Velos, are using a European tune module but they use their own software on it.
