When I bought my 2016 it had 22" wheels with Pirelli Asimmetirico all season tires...it's what is currently on the car. The seller also included the OEM wheels, I believe they are 469M (see below). My question is, if I installed non RF tires (Michelin or Continental) on the 469M 20" wheels will I notice a difference in road noise? The 22" + Pirellis are loud.

Yes, you likely will notice a difference. Not sure which non-RF is quieter

Non RFT tires will generate less noise. If you are considering RFT tires, I just replaced OEM 20" Dunlop tires with Pirelli P Zero tires which are noticeably quieter.

I'm more wondering how much quieter the 20" wheel set up will be versus my current 22" set up.

Less noise for sure, the Conti DWS are very quiet and smooth riding.

22" wheels with non RFT tires will be quieter than with RFT tires - if you prefer 22" wheels. Spare tire or mobility kit will be essential.
