Wheel spacers
Hi,
what's the best combo of wheel spacers (front/back)? Could you tell me how to calculate the missing space for various wheel sizes to get plain with fender? I saw in other forums that 40/50 and 25/40 looks great. |

I'll save you some reading, 5mm front is all you can do. Rear, you can do 5 or 15mm. So, not worth it is the short answer. With the wheel hub bearing issue that's going on, I do not recommend doing any wheel spacer mods. BMW will just blame on that mod. My F85 has 15k miles. Brake calipers, brake rotors, brake pads, and hubs have been replaced due to squeal and click. Still clicking, sounds like playing card on a bicycle wheel that's attached to a bag of marbles.

I thought the front was fine... I've attached a picture of my dirty X6M with the actual winter wheels on without the spacers. |
