In a nutshell...
Front - Only option is 5mm Rear - 5mm or 15mm and up Up front we can't run anything between 5-19mm because either there isn't enough lip for the wheel to mount on or the spacer doesn't clear the hub. To make matters worse a 20MM spacer up front would be way too much for most wheels and will cause the front to stick out pass the fenders.

The only option is 5mm front and 15mm rear. Maximum is 20mm on rear, but then it will looks weird since the front is inward while the rear is outward. 5/15 is the perfect combo and what I have been selling all day.

Thank you both. I noticed that Turner has some 5.5mm, but maybe I misread the specs.

For those using spacers in your X5M and stock wheels, are there any steering wheel vibrations at normal speeds or highway speeds? Anybody used the Turners spacers yet?
Thank you. Eric

Nope, no vibrations at any speeds with 5f/15r Turner spacers. I have used Turner spacers on my last 4 BMWs and never had an issue.

elm3 , if you got a vibration, there will be a lot of factors.
A good quality spacer made of CNC Aluminum won't cause any vibration. I have used H&R Spacers on both of my Porsches for track purposed, none of them gives me any problem. The only time I have heard spacer gave problem is when they are using the universal spacer where it just looks like a pancake with a bunch of holes and made of cast aluminum. I have sold hundreds sets of H&R Spacers to F15/F16/F85/F86 guys, and no single complaint about vibration.

Actually the 5mm H&R spacer I bought direct from them caused vibrations on my F15. I thought it was my wheels at first and got them roadforce balanced and still the same. Once I took the 5mm spacer off the vibration went away. I think because the spacer is so thin for 5mm its more likely to have vibrations with that compared to a bigger spacer.
No issues with my 12.5 or 20MM spacers in the back.

Spacers were installed on both sides but not sure if it was one side or both sides had vibrations. I just know that once i got up to speed the steering wheel would shimmy slightly and once i removed the spacers it completely stopped.
Maybe i just had a bad set of spacers... Alan

5F/15R is the set up of choice? Typically on 8mm or more you use extended wheels bolts. on a 5mm front do you use bolts when you have the OEM 21" wheels? Which vendor sells matching bolts in +15mm for oem rear wheels?

This is a really confusing thread lol but would anyone be able to direct me or have information on what would fit the Stock 20" 611M wheels for an X6M? Im going to be installing KW's most likely in the spring and with the drop in height i know the car will look very odd with the wheels so tucked in. I had the same issue with my E63 M6 with KW until i added 10f and 12r. Thanks for the help!

I just ordered the H&R spacers that they claimed it fit on the F15/F16/F85/F86 just to do measurement since they updated the part number. My finding, 12mm-15mm spacer won't clear the front hub. The difference between the new part numbers to the old one (which is for E70/E71) is the overall diameter. They make the diameter bigger on the new one to accommodate the bigger wheel's back pad on the newer car. Other than that, they still spec'ed the hub insert depth the same. My suggestion, return them before you install it. Otherwise you can't return them once installed.

This is what happened on the 15mm once you torque the wheel down.
The hub centric part will break off. With that broken off, your wheel is only sitting on the lug bolts, not the hub itself. It is not good, because the wheel need to sit on the hub. The lug bolts are there to secure the wheel to the hub, not to handle all the weight of the car.
