iPhone 7 bluetooth issues

I'm having connectivity issues with my new iPhone 7 and my 2015 X5M. I wanted to get a feel for how many other people are also having these issues?

I understand that BMW is working on a fix, but c'mon already!!!

No problems for me, but I also do not stream music and use a 160GB iPod Classic for my music.

I had issues with my iPhone 6S Plus, but no issues with my iPhone 7 running iOS 10.0.2.

Note I have a 2017 X5M with the new iDrive 5.0 and use CarPlay 100% of the time I'm in the car.

Ahh man, I miss my 160 iPod classic. It finally bit the dust.

A couple of days ago I ran into the same issue with my BT out of no where. My iPhone 7 was working fine for the month I had the car and one day it just started acting up. The audio/phone wasn't working properly and re-pairing the device wasn't easy. I tried resetting the phone and idrive many times but it didn't help.
Oddly or perhaps unsurprisingly, RESETTING ALL NETWORK function on the phone did the trick.

I tried that last night, but it still didn't work.

Also runnion iOS 10.0.3 now and it doesn't seem to help

It was fine on my iphone 6 w/ iOS 10. It seems to be something specific to the iphone 7 (maybe only the "Plus" model??)

This morning the iDrive just started to reboot randomly. Awesome

i installed IOS 10.1 beta today and it appears to have fixed the problem. no issues all day today.
